We can provide a number of solutions and advice for your domain registration, e-mail handling and web space, using our own professional dedicated server located in London. If you already have such services and are happy with them then we will upload the relevant website files to your own account.
Full hosting package
If you want a number of mailboxes for your staff, and/or website stats on your website's activity, then you will need a full hosting account. Our basic package provides up to 30 POP3 mailboxes and 50MB of webspace, which allows for storage of your mail, your website files and the log files associated.
If you have an in-house mail server then instead of POP3 accounts we can set up an account for your server to collect mail from. We can also offer "store and forward" service, or to amend the MX records to an IP address of your choice, but would point out that the latter option means we have no control over your mail and cannot restore anything if it gets lost in transit.
We will give you details of how to transfer your domain to us when the time comes, and upload the approved relevant website files on completion. Not all the files used in your site will be uploaded this way, and some have to stay on our server for reason of functionality.
The setup fee we charge allows for the setting up of your account, setting up the mailbox(es) you require and helping you set up your PCs/server to use them, uploading your completed website files, and providing telephone support during office hours as required.
If spam is a problem then you might find our anti-spam and anti-virus service useful. This will screen all your mail, stripping it of viruses, and either destroying spam or sending it to a separate mailbox for you to download and check occasionally before deleting.
Costs: we charge an annual fee of £400 + VAT for the basic hosting package
